Overview

Tiny Chon in Gading Serpong is a charming Thai eatery tucked away in Maggiore Grande’s cozy row of shops. It brings authentic Thai street food into a compact, inviting space that feels warm and unpretentious, perfect for casual meals with friends or family. The location off Springs Boulevard is accessible and offers a quiet respite from the bustle, making it ideal for those seeking both comfort and bold flavors.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the pork belly dishes, with the Cabe Garam Crispy Pork Belly stealing the show. This dish pairs a crunchy, perfectly fried pork belly with a runny sunny side up egg, delivering a harmony of salty and savory notes that diners rave about. The Red Curry Crispy Pork Belly is another highlight—a rich and flavorful twist that proves the kitchen’s skill with classic Thai curry profiles. For noodle lovers, the Chili Fried Noodle stands out with its generous portions and options of protein ranging from chicken to crispy pork belly, offering a satisfying balance of spice and texture without overwhelming heat.

Soups at Tiny Chon provide a fragrant and refreshing contrast. The Tom Saab and Torn Saab soups are praised for their tangy, herbal punch that comes from traditional Thai ingredients like lime leaves, galangal, and lemongrass. The sourness is vibrant but balanced, enhancing the fresh, garlicky undertones—a clear favorite that many come back for. The pork ribs further complement these flavors with tender meat that almost falls off the bone, wrapped in a subtly sweet and savory broth.

Desserts deliver a delightful finish. The Pa Tong Go, fried to a golden crisp yet soft inside, paired with pandan jam, is widely celebrated for its comforting sweetness. The Tub Tim Grob, a traditional Thai red ruby dessert, offers a creamy, chewy texture with coconut milk and jackfruit, rounding out the meal on a refreshing note.

While the eatery is small and best suited for intimate gatherings, the quick service and helpful staff enhance the overall dining experience. Though some have noted service speed could improve, the passion behind the cooking and the quality of the dishes create a strong impression. Tiny Chon appeals to Thai food enthusiasts and adventurous diners alike, those who appreciate nuanced flavors without overwhelming spice, served in a friendly, unpretentious environment.

This is a place worth discovering for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors in Tangerang. From distinctive pork belly creations to fragrant soups and satisfying desserts, Tiny Chon delivers a taste journey that feels both personal and genuine—one you’ll want to repeat.

The food was amazing! I love their Cabe Garam Pork Belly and their dessert (Pa Tong Go) is the best! Very recommended.

A small and cozy eatery in Gading Serpong serving Thailand-inspired street food. I tried the Chilli Fried Noodle and it’s an easy 8/10 with generous portion, full of flavor, and you can choose your protein from chicken, pork, to crispy pork belly. One of the must orders here is the Cabe Garam Crispy Pork Belly, served with a perfectly fried sunny side up with runny yolk in the middle, sooo good! Still lots on the menu I’m excited to try like their Chilli Pineapple Fried Rice and Spicy Pad Kee Mao. Prices are very reasonable too. I got my food very quickly, with fast service and a helpful, informative server (Mba Devi is a diva!!!). The place is pretty small so it’s better if you can reserve a table first. Flavor-wise, I expected the food to be much spicier, but it leaned more on the salty side than spicy. Definitely coming back and I’d recommend this place to any Thai food lover with a twist.

Tiny Chon is a must-try! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place just opened, and wow—everything I had was pure comfort food! If you’re into Thai flavors, you’re gonna love it here!! They have three kinds of crispy pork belly, but the red curry one? Next level My absolute faves: Tom Saab (so tangy, spicy, and addicting), Red Curry Crispy Pork Belly (crispy, rich, and packed with flavor), and Chili Pineapple Fried Rice (sweet, spicy, and just chef’s kiss ). and their Pa Tong Go are also insanely good. Super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and that pandan jam? I could eat it by the spoonful. Can’t wait to come back!

Torn Saab & Spicy Pork Ribs was really good, especially the soup!! Very fragrant, the sourness is intense, well in a good way, I personally love it! A little spicy, garlicky, with the thai trio lime leaves, galangal, and lemon grass.. super fresh. Definitely will come back for the soup We also got pad see ew with crispy pork belly (no egg, not to follow, it’s just because one of us has an allergy) I mean even without egg, it’s still very tasty, smoky wok hey, a little sweet, salty, savory combined with the crispy crispy pork belly, really cannot choose between these two The Tub Tim Grob aka Thai Red Ruby dessert also really nice, a lovely choice to finish up. Chewy red rubies with soft coconut flesh, jackfruit, in sweet coconut milk, my kinda dessert Unfortunately, the papaya pomelo salad was way too sweet for our preferences, it’s not sour at all (did they forget the lime juice?) but overall it’s a proper casual dinner, I can see my self coming back in the future for the other menus

Food was really good! ordered the red curry pork belly imo it was one of my favourite, the salad was sour and fresh i liked it, the cabe garam are also good, and also the tom saab soup, the sourness was perfect, the pork ribs was soft and you can eat the soft bone, and there’s also a slight sweetness to the soup which i loved, Forgot to take pics of the other foods tho since we legit finished everything straight away but the only thing that was lacking was their service, it was kinda slow but completely understandable since it was their first day opening, but well there’s a room for improvement, i hope they’ll be better on my next visit , but overall very good! I’ll give it a 8.5/10! Will def come back for the pork belly!

Went here on a casual Saturday with friends and had a great time. Food was awesome. Loved the Chili Pineapple Fried Rice with its savory feel and runny egg. The Tom Saab Soup was also very tangy, feels hearty and fulfilling. Will come back for these two

Tiny Chon is a hidden gem, looks small on the first floor but the second floor is actually quite spacious. Clean, modern, with a comfy vibe (AC still felt cool even during a busy hot afternoon) I tried: - Papaya and Pomelo Salad (9/10) Fresh, with mango and crispy wonton skin. Nice twist, though a bit less sour than expected - Pad Krapao Chicken (10/10) Big portion, super flavorful with strong basil aroma, plus the runny egg was perfect - Cabe Garam Crispy Pork Belly (7/10) Pork itself was just okay but crispy, seasoning was tasty though I wish it was spicier - Pa Tong Go (9/10) Warm fritter with cold pandan dip, delicious combo! More like odading (roti oyeng) than cakwe, but still so good - Tom Saab and Spicy Pork Ribs (100/10) Absolutely a must-order! Clear broth yet packed with savory-sour flavors, generous meat, comforting and addictive Overall, amazing food, fair prices, and a fun experience. Definitely coming back
